Our Facilities

The Department of Architecture at Tokyo Metropolitan University attaches great importance to the knowledge obtained through experiments, and each field has experimental facilities and abundant research equipment.
A wide range of research is being conducted, including the earthquake resistance of structures, the durability of building materials, the improvement of living environments, and energy conservation.
Many projects related to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and research through industry-academia collaboration are also conducted, and we are working on research aiming to be a useful proposal for the real world.
